What does hope look like to you?
As you look around your community, what images speak to you of hope? A Hope Story is an arts initiative that invites you to show what hope like to you.
A Hope Story Exhibition
There will be an arts exhibition in Regina, Edmonton and Richmond in the spring of 2011. Local people are invited to contribute a piece of art that reflects how they see hope in their community, and in addition, there will be an international photography gallery, featuring photos of hope from around the world.
How you can be involved
If you live in one of the exhibition cities, you can get in touch with your local Fusion Centre in Regina, Edmonton, or Richmond for more information about how you can submit a piece of art for the local exhibition. Art can be submitted by individuals, or by groups such as youth groups & schools who would like to have their community engage with what ‘Hope’ is in this creative way.
Anyone living across Canada or around the world is invited to submit a photo that depicts what hope looks like in your community and culture, through your eyes.
And don’t forget to interact with the blog. If an image speaks to you the, share what comes to mind for you. That will help other people engage with the image as well. If you have thought or have seen something that you feel would had to the dialogue of ‘what does hope look like’, please share it with us on the main page.

Hey Heather and crew!
I’m interested in helping with the Edmonton exhibition for A Hope Story. I have some experience with exhibition set ups. I graduated from MacEwan with my diploma in Design and Exhibit presentation and have had the opportunity to help with a couple different exhibits/events through school, and some freelance work. Please let me know how I can be of help.
Talk to you later,
Keighla

Hey Keighla!
That would be great. I’ll be in touch with you about that sometime soon.
Thanks!! It’ll be great to have you on board! (And I think you’ll love some off the other Faith & The Arts stuff we will have going on this year – I will be in touch!!)
